Ensure your backend is using your production key. Any calls to the Citadel API's should have your production key in the X-Access-Secret header
Ensure you have your Company name properly set in the "Settings" section of the dashboard. This is the name that will be returned in the client_name field when you request a bridge_token
Customize the Bridge to better match your branding. Making the Bridge look like it's as much a part of your application as anything else will increase the users trust in logging into their payroll provider, increasing the chances of a successful connection.
Choose a primary color that matches your branding
If you feel that removing Citadel's name from the Bridge will help this, get in touch with us about white-labeling the Bridge for you.
Ensure you're requesting a bridge token for every session. You should be making a call to the /bridge-tokens endpoint to retrieve a bridge token every time you want to initialize the Citadel Bridge
Ensure you're handling errors from Citadel gracefully. The onEvent callback in the Bridge has an ERROR event type that will return any issues the user may have when attempting to complete the process.
Ensure the product_type you're specifying in the /v1/bridge-tokens endpoint matches the endpoints you're calling. If you're specifying employment as a product_type you should be calling /v1/verifications/employments. income should be calling /v1/verifications/incomes and admin needs to be specified for calling the /v1/administrators endpoints.
